Green Jersey Events
Day 1
Saturday 13 April: A choice of two routes awaits, either 60km (37.5miles) or 100km (67 miles). They share the same first section so you can change your mind at the first refreshment stop after approximately 20 miles where cakes and biscuits will be waiting for you, together with soft drinks and water. On both routes you should expect some hills, but they do not set out to be gratuitously hilly! The short route returns back to base after the refreshment stop whilst the long one continues on another loop, returning for more refreshments at about 47 miles.
Whilst you will be given a frame number for your bike, this is to ensure that only those entitled to our fabulous cakes get them, and not to indicate that this is a race. We will keep a record of who passes through each stop and at what time they finish not only for your curiosity but also from our safety aspect, so that we have an idea of where riders are on the road.
Both routes cost the same so you can make your mind up on the day.

Day 2
Sunday 14 April: The 3 Cingles d'Eggardon is our take on the famous 3 ways up Mont Ventoux. This will be the third running of this event which most riders come back to as it is a manageable yet decent challenge. Eggardon Hill is one of the highest points of West Dorset and on a clear day you will enjoy fantastic views of the Jurassic Coastline and the beautiful Marshwood Vale to the west. The roads are quiet and there is hardly any traffic, making this a great place to enjoy a good morning's ride. Although only 25 miles in length there are three good ascents to the summit with refreshments centrally located for your enjoyment at the top of each one.
This is always a fun event with cyclists from varying backgrounds and experiences; you will see all types of bike. The main thing is the friendliness of it which we hope you will come and enjoy.
